We invite you to get to know our Account Representative Manager, Kasey Creed. She is dedicated to upholding the company’s values and selflessly serving our client families.
Why did you decide to work for Trigard Memorials?
When I originally applied for the position, I personally didn’t know a lot about Trigard Memorials and the Darby family businesses.
My brother, however, had been working here for a few years and had a lot of great things to say about the company. After going through the interview process, I knew exactly what he was talking about and I could not wait to start my career.
Tell us about your job roles and responsibilities.
As Account Representatives, we see to it that all of our customers’ needs are met. This includes providing information about the products we offer as well as handling orders and requests.
When a family calls in or emails us, we advise them on how to purchase a grave memorial and put them in contact with a Trigard Memorials dealer in their area.
How has your career grown since working with the company?
In May of 2016, I was hired on as an Account Representative and in October of 2020 I took on the Account Representative Manager position.
My focus in this new role is to make sure that our department runs smoothly so we can continue to provide excellent customer service. I very much appreciate the opportunity I was afforded – it is a challenging, yet very rewarding experience.
What do you find unique about working at Trigard Memorials?
I believe the workplace culture is what makes Trigard Memorials special. I don’t consider the people I work with co-workers – I consider them family. There are some amazing people here, and I am thankful to work alongside them.
The relationships that the Darby family has with their staff also stands out to me. There aren’t many places where the owners know their employees’ names and genuinely care about their professional and personal lives.
What do you find to be the most fulfilling part of your career?
The most fulfilling part of my job is helping families gain a sense of closure during one of their most difficult times.
We love receiving positive feedback from customers after they have seen a loved one’s grave marker for the first time.
What can you tell us about your life outside of work?
My husband Matt and I have three children – Aubree (8), Elijah (4) and Isaiah (1). We also own an auto repair shop in our town.
In our free time you can find us at our kids’ sporting events, camping, and at tractor shows. Another one of our family’s favorite things to do is vacation at my in-laws’ cabin in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Jill Darby
Jill is a member of the Marketing Team and copywriter for Trigard Memorials and all affiliated Greenwood Inc. companies. She grew up in the funeral industry, as her family owned funeral homes in the Midwest. After graduating from Miami University, Ohio in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Jill worked in sales and customer relations for a global funeral product manufacturer. Her experience also includes merchandising, cemetery operations, and aftercare. Jill and her husband, Rich enjoy spending time with family, traveling, watching college basketball, and spoiling their 5 grandchildren.
